Travel Arrangements - Maritime / Industry Related Students

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS FOR MARITIME / INDUSTRY RELATED STUDENTS

Maritime / industry related students (non-MEBA members - sponsored by a company, military, or government agency) are to either 1) make their own travel arrangements, or 2) follow the travel arrangements made/directed by their sponsoring agency.

STUDENTS ARE REMINDED OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Arrive no earlier than the day before the first day of the class.

  • NO PETS POLICY

    • Pets are not allowed at any time. Considerations of liability, allergies, and damage require this policy to be strictly enforced.

    • Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), service animals are permitted.  Documentation is required, and the school must be notified prior to arrival.

  • All incoming students are required to attend Orientation on the first morning of the class at 0800, in the Newberry Auditorium located in the Administration Building.

  • Students are expected to depart campus on the last day of class.  (Most classes end before noon, unless noted - i.e., BST Refresher, LNG as a Fuel).  Exceptions are made on a case by case basis.

  • A Student Arrival Information Summary will be emailed once you are registered, prior to the course start.
