This 13-lesson course will cover emergency response and resource management knowledge and skills that are necessary to operate efficiently and safely during an emergency in the marine environment. It will also provide the student with sufficient instruction in human behavior and risk assessment procedures to enable them to determine correct initial actions, training requirements, and interagency interfacing that may be required to initiate and operate in a unified situation.

While classes are scheduled in two-week increments, students will work at their own pace.  It is possible to complete both classes in as few as three days, but the full two-week time period is available if needed.  Though students will work at their own pace, they are expected to complete all assignments and to interact with the instructor.  There will be live student/instructor interaction available every weekday of the course.  Additional course-specific information will be sent to students upon successful registration into a class.

Students may register for Crisis Management, Crowd Management, or both classes in the same two-week time period - however, please remember that a separate application form is needed for each class.  More detailed information is available on the admissions pages for online courses.
