The fundraising drive continues for the MEBA Merchant Marine Memorial Foundation (MMMMF). This memorial honors all Merchant Mariners who have passed away. Since the MMMMF is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt entity, all donations to this fund are tax deductible. As of September 1, 2005 all those that contribute at least $100 will have their name engraved on a brick that will show their generosity to the project. Benches, with an engraved plaque, may be donated for $1,400. Donations can also be made to the Memorial Project with an "in memory" tribute.
